Born in Jerusalem to a family with origins in Argentina, Algeria and France, Yael Horwitz’s artistic identity was much inspired by all of these influences. Yael made a magical musical journey tracing the roots and influences of her childhood and lived for a while in Southern Spain. There she professionalized her singing and gradually developed a unique musical style.

In her music Yael fuses the Spanish singing with the Mediterranean influences from her hometown Jerusalem, expressing her life between countries and cultures.

Yael's first album "Latido" was recorded and produced in Spain along with Spanish and Israeli musicians. In the album Yael sings original songs written by her as well as some mesmerizing new editions to classics such as "Morenita".

On the stage Yael is accompanied by some extraordinary musicians from the worlds of Flamenco and mediterranean music. Together they make the live concert a sensational experience, taking  the audience on a joyful and emotional journey.

Among her many cooperations Yael has also performed in special projects with the Andalusian Mediterranean Orchestra of Jerusalem, Nino Biton, Ilana Eliya, Ramon Heredia, Esperanza Fernandez and more. 

Yael is currently working on her second album.
